Louie’s path to becoming the head of The Barbers Winslow began at college, where he quickly recognised the importance of combining his education with real-world experience. Eager to get ahead, Louie negotiated an internship at the renowned Hairmasters barber shop, where he honed his skills and gained invaluable hands-on experience in 2022.
By 2023, Louie had the confidence and ambition to open his home salon in Stony Stratford. His business quickly thrived, attracting a steady stream of loyal clients. During this time, he met Mick, a highly successful business owner in Buckingham.
After graduating and becoming fully qualified, Louie began working alongside Mick, learning the trade and gaining further experience in a fast-paced, thriving environment.
When Mick took over The Barbers Winslow, he brought Louie with him, entrusting him to help develop and grow the business while maintaining Mick’s other ventures. In late 2024, Mick decided it was time to step back from his role at Winslow and allowed Louie to take complete control of the barbershop – the same opportunity Mick had early in his career. Passing on the torch, Mick continues advising Louie, who fondly calls him “my barber dad.” Now, with his shop, Louie is ready to make his mark on Winslow, building a future with the same passion and care he’s always shown.
